Trust grows where people come together

The trip described below took place some time ago, before the earthquake that struck Colombia. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this event. The growers and regions that Mario and Dion visited during this trip are located outside the affected areas. As the meetings and insights from this visit remain relevant to our collaboration with growers and partners, we are sharing their report now. For Mario and Dion, this trip to Colombia was all about connection, quality and collaboration. Together, they visited growers and partners in Bogotá and Medellín to assess crops, discuss developments and, above all, further strengthen relationships. Because at Farmhouse, we believe that the best collaboration comes from meeting each other in person.

From intern to grower in Portugal: why hands-on experience changes your perspective

For Luuk, it started as a simple idea: to gain experience with a grower abroad. He can now look back on a period of just over a month in Portugal, where he worked at Emergosol. It was an experience that enriched him not only professionally, but also personally. As a student of International Business and Management, he was given the opportunity here to truly bridge the gap between theory and practice.
